Tom Anderson

Councillor for Greasby, Frankby and Irby Ward

Tom Anderson was first elected as councillor for Greasby, Frankby and Irby in 2014 and then re-elected in 2016. Previously he served as a councillor for Upton Ward from 2008-12. He serves on the Liverpool City Region Scrutiny Panel.

Tom was brought up in Greasby, and apart from a couple of years away has lived in Wirral all his life. Tom's professional life has consisted of working for an MP, as head of a communications for a training company and more recently as a relationship manager for a pharmaceutical organisation. 

Tom has a wide experience within the Wirral community, having served:

• three years as a school governor.

• a director of Magenta Living for three years.

• a community association director. 

• pre-school nursery director for over four years.

Tom’s focus for Greasby, Frankby and Irby is:

• to protect our surrounding green belt from unwanted developments.

• protect and enhance our leisure services, such as not selling off our beloved parks or closing down local libraries.

• to ensure that Wirral is a clean, green safe area with opportunities and activities for all.

Voting now open for Britain's favourite parks!

A new competition by Keep Britain Tidy is inviting residents to vote for their favourite park.  All 25 of Wirral's Green Flag parks are eligible, along with the other 1,772 award winning Green Flag Award parks in the rest of the country.

Wirral Council admits parking charges are 'guestimate'

Campaigners against plans for parking charges in Wirral’s four country parks last night heard how the figures in the Council’s budget were a ‘guestimate’ amid claims that visitor numbers could drop by 30%.

Helen Cameron

Wendy has represented the people of Greasby, Frankby and Irby as their councillor since 2010, having lived in the area since 1990.

Wendy lives in Greasby with her husband and their two children grew up there, attending local schools.

Michael Collins is the new, local Conservative Councillor for Pensby Barnston and Thingwall.  

Tony Cox

Tony was elected as Councillor for Hoylake & Meols Ward in May 2018. He has been an active local campaigner, and community champion, for many years.

Andrew Gardner

Councillor for Hoylake & Meols Ward

Andrew Gardner is a long-standing community activist on Wirral. Living in Irby where he is part of the Irby Library Volunteers group and a Governor at Irby Primary for several years.

Jeff Green

Jeff Green was first elected as a Ward Councillor in 1986, since when he has continued to serve the residents of West Kirby, Caldy, Grange, Newton and Thurstaston having been re-elected seven times.

Paul Hayes

Councillor for Wallasey Ward
Spokesman on the Liverpool City Region Transport Committee ('Merseytravel')

Paul Hayes was first elected to Wirral Council in 2007, representing Wallasey Ward.  Paul is a member of the Transport Committee of Liverpool City Region.

Paul was called to the Bar by Middle Temple and currently works in communications for a large brand.
