More powers to support survivors of domestic abuse

Today, marking International Women’s Day, the Prime Minister has launched a review into new laws and stronger powers to put safety and support for survivors at the heart of Government efforts to stamp out Domestic Abuse.

Time to scrap the Wirral View

Conservative Councillors in Wirral are stepping up their campaign to scrap Wirral View, and put the money into school crossing patrols instead.

The budget, passed by Labour Councillors on Monday, includes a further £140,000 to be spent on the controversial newspaper.

Home Secretary visits Wirral's Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre

During her visit to Wirral, the Home Secretary, The Rt. Hon. Amber Rudd MP, praised the work of Wirral's Rape & Sexual Abuse (RASA) Centre.

The Centre was established by Jo Wood MBE, close to where Diane Sindall was raped and murdered in 1986.
