Seven days to stop a Militant Council

Seven Days to Stop a Militant Council

Voters across Wirral have, today, been urged to use next week's Council elections to stop a Militant takeover of the Town Hall.

In a four page special around this week's Wirral Globe, the Borough's local Conservatives have reported on the extremist, 'hard left' takeover of the Labour Group since Jeremy Corbyn was elected Leader and the risks this poses to the services we all rely on, and the taxes we pay for them.

Seven moderate, traditional Labour Councillors have resigned from the Party or quit the Council altogether since the last council elections.  The hard left of the Labour Party already controls all four constituency Labour Parties and one of the first to go was the respected MP, Frank Field in Birkenhead.

Click on the attached documents below for the pages around the Globe and, on Thursday 2nd May, use your vote to stop a Militant Council running your services and raising your Council Taxes.
