Mike Collins

Councillor for Pensby, Thingwall and Barnston Ward

Michael Collins is the new, local Conservative Councillor for Pensby Barnston and Thingwall.  

The ward covers the communities of Pensby, Thingwall, Barnston and part of Heswall. Living in Pensby, Mike was a governor at Pensby Juniors, then Pensby Primary school, for more than 25 years.

Mike is an active member of the Church of England where he was a Lay minister in Pensby and Barnston until he was asked to help in New Brighton Parish.

Mike’s priorities for Pensby and Thingwall are:

  • To protect our precious green belt from unwanted, reckless development
  • To ensure that our area gets its fair share of Town Hall spending
  • to ensure that Wirral is a clean, green safe area with opportunities and activities for all
