Mike Collins (Pensby, Barnston and Thingwall)

Michael Collins is the new, local Conservative Councillor for Pensby Barnston and Thingwall.  

The ward covers the communities of Pensby, Thingwall, Barnston and part of Heswall. Living in Pensby, Mike was a governor at Pensby Juniors, then Pensby Primary school, for more than 25 years.

Mike is an active member of the Church of England where he was a Lay minister in Pensby and Barnston until he was asked to help in New Brighton Parish.

Mike’s priorities for Pensby and Thingwall are:

  • To protect our precious green belt from unwanted, reckless development
  • To ensure that our area gets its fair share of Town Hall spending
  • to ensure that Wirral is a clean, green safe area with opportunities and activities for all

Wendy lives in Greasby with her husband and their two children grew up there, attending local schools.

Tony Cox (Hoylake & Meols)

Tony was elected as Councillor for Hoylake & Meols Ward in May 2018. He has been an active local campaigner, and community champion, for many years.

Paul Hayes (Wallasey)

Paul Hayes was first elected to Wirral Council in 2007, representing Wallasey Ward.  Paul is a member of the Transport Committee of Liverpool City Region.

Paul was called to the Bar by Middle Temple and currently works in communications for a large brand.

Andrew Hodson (Heswall and Gayton)

ANDREW HODSON is married to Kathy who is also a local councillor, and he has a grown up family.

He has lived in Heswall all his life, and is therefore a truly local man. He is a director of a locally based company, employing local people on The Wirral.

Jenny Johnson

Jenny Johnson is one of our three local Conservative Councillors for West Kirby and Thurstaston ward.

Mary Jordan (Clatterbridge Ward)

Mary Jordan is one of three Conservative Councillors for Clatterbridge Ward, and was elected in May 2018.  Clatterbridge covers the communities of Spital, Thornton Hough, Raby, Poulton, Raby Mere, Brookhurst and part of Bromborough. Mary has lived in Wirral all her life, moving to Spital in 1999.

Ian Lewis (Wallasey)

Ian Lewis was elected to Wirral Council in 2016, representing Wallasey Ward, and the seat originally held by former Councillor, Kate Wood.  Before that, he was the first-ever Conservative Councillor for Leasowe & Moreton East (2008-12 and 2013-14).

Cherry Povall (Clatterbridge, Spital and Thornton Hough)

Cherry Povall was first elected as a Conservative Councillor for Clatterbridge Ward in 2008.

Cherry has lived in Wirral all her working life having first arrived to work as a teacher. She went on to own numerous newsagent shops in partnership with her husband.

Steve Williams (Moreton West & Saughall Massie)

Steve Williams was first elected as Councillor for Moreton West & Saughall Massie in 2009, then re-elected in 2011 and 2015. Since retiring as a Police Officer in 1999 Steve has run his own Computer business.
